Red Series Dimmer Switch (10pk)
Under The Hood
Built using the powerful Z-Wave plus Module, the Z-Wave Plus Certified Red Series Dimmer is packed with features making it more advanced than our prior switches. These are also OTA (Over-The-Air) Ready allowing us to keep your switch up to date and future-proof.
- Z-Wave Signal Strength Notifier
Know if your Z-Wave switch is within range when installing. If it flashes red, the switch is out of reach of the HUB. If it flashes green, you are good to go!
- Built in Configuration Button
We’ve found in the past that not every HUB allows parameter changes (Wink) so we built this switch to account for this. Now, you can customize your switch by holding down the config button and following a tapping sequence to change just about everything you can imagine (ie: LED color, etc).

Smart speakers are NOT Z-Wave hubs so they won't work directly with any Z-Wave devices. But you can use a compatible Z-Wave hub with smart speaker integration to control your dimmer with voice control. These include the Fibaro hubs, Hubitat, SmartThings, Vera, and Wink.

These are absolutely the best Z-Wave switches I have bought. They are visually appealing with the configurable status bar, there are too many configuration settings to go over them all (but so many are useful), and the ability to use without a neutral wire gives me options for my older home. There are two minor things I wish they would add: 1. A "minimum start at" setting. I have LED's that can turn down to 1% once lit, but cannot start at 1%. I could adjust the minimum dim level setting, but that would make them brighter than I want them. The proposed setting would give the bulbs a little extra juice on startup and then dim to the desired level. 2. A setting to disable dimming, effectively making this an on/off switch. I know they also sell on/off switches, but I'd rather buy the dimmers in bulk and decide at install what they do. Alternatively, allow setting the minimum dimming to be 100% would achieve the same thing.
I rarely write reviews but these are some great switches. The LED indicators are very nice. Easy to install, great documentation. These also work great with SmartThings and all the parameters can be configured through ST instead of the button pushing routine. Hands down best smart switches/dimmers I've used.
I took a bit of a risk buying 10 of these having never used them before. But I like the company and I had a couple of the bulbs already so I went for it. These are, hand down, my favorite switches that I've used in the history of... ever. Not only are they well built, they are easy and quick to configure. I'm using these with home assistant and love (more than I thought I would) the ability to double tap for an extra scene. It opens up a whole new world of what I can do with wall switches. In my bathroom, a double tap up on the switch turns on music in the in-wall speakers. A double tap up on another switch skips the track. I'm like a little kid in a toy store with these things. Also, the LED indicators are beautiful looking. I wasn't sure I was going to like them, but they really do look good. I love that by default they stay on very dimly so you can see where the switches are in the dark. Finally, the fact that pretty much every parameter you can think of is programmable is nothing short of magical. Well done, inovelli.
