Built for How You Actually Work
Professional smart home projects should not require proprietary control layers, mandatory dealer programs, or extra software just to deliver a great customer experience. Inovelli products are designed to fit into the platforms your clients already use while keeping control in your hands.
- Skip the Dealer Program: No dealer applications, certifications, or software licenses. Any licensed electrician on your crew is qualified on day one. Buy it, wire it, bill it.
- Fewer Callbacks: Lights stay on when the network does not. Built-in local control means fewer late-night calls and fewer truck rolls eating into your job margin.
- You Own the Relationship: Deep device configuration, free firmware updates, and no dealer portal fee. Your client’s system stays your client’s system.
- Native to the Apps They Already Use: Inovelli works inside Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung, Home Assistant, Hubitat, HomeSeer, and other supported ecosystems.
- Retrofit Without the Demolition: Standard wiring, standard gang boxes, wireless mesh protocols, and no proprietary control cables to pull.
One Lineup. Three Protocols. You Pick the Fit.
Every project has different requirements. Some clients want Apple Home. Some want SmartThings. Some want Home Assistant. Some need Z-Wave for security-first installations. Inovelli gives you one familiar product family across Matter over Thread, Zigbee 3.0, and Z-Wave 800.
- White Series: Matter over Thread. Native to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, Hubitat, and other Matter-certified platforms. The pick when you do not know which ecosystem the client will land on.
- Blue Series: Zigbee 3.0. Compatible with SmartThings, Alexa, Home Assistant, Hubitat, and the broader Zigbee ecosystem. Inovelli’s best-selling series with the deepest product catalog.
- Red Series: Z-Wave 800. Native capability with Home Assistant, Hubitat, HomeSeer, Samsung SmartThings, and the broader Z-Wave ecosystem. The security pick when reliability, range, and sub-GHz communication drive the spec.
All series share the same accessories, including aux switches, bypass modules, and custom color paddles, making it easier to standardize across projects.
White Series: The Open Standard
The White Series is built on Matter over Thread and designed for broad ecosystem compatibility. It pairs directly into the apps your clients already use, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, Hubitat, and other Matter-certified platforms.
- Native Ecosystem Participation: No proprietary bridge, no dealer-specific platform, and no new app to train the homeowner on.
- Thread Mesh, Not WiFi: Every switch is a Thread router, strengthening the mesh with every device installed while avoiding WiFi bandwidth contention.
- Local Control at the Wall: Line/load wiring means the device functions as a standard switch even if the network is down.
- Proven at Scale: Chosen by national production-home accounts and built for volume deployments.
Spec the White Series when you want the broadest ecosystem reach and a future-ready smart switch platform built around Matter and Thread.
Blue Series: The Established Standard
The Blue Series is built on Zigbee 3.0 and is Inovelli’s best-selling product family. It is designed for mature mesh networking, deep configuration, local control, and advanced automation projects.
- A Protocol With a Track Record: Zigbee has been a backbone of smart home networks for over a decade, and every Blue Series switch acts as a repeater to strengthen the mesh at scale.
- Direct Bindings: Blue Series switches can talk directly to other Zigbee devices, including Philips Hue bulbs, without routing every command through a hub.
- Deep Device Data: Blue Series exposes configuration, energy, and thermal data through standard Zigbee hubs for advanced automation and service plans.
- Specialized Form Factors: The Blue Series includes dimmers, on/off switches, fan controls, fan/light canopy modules, and the mmWave Presence Dimmer.
Spec the Blue Series when the project needs proven Zigbee reliability, local control, and the deepest Inovelli product catalog.
Red Series: The Security Pick
The Red Series is built on Z-Wave 800 and designed for security-first smart home installations. It operates on the 908 MHz sub-GHz frequency, separate from WiFi, Bluetooth, and other 2.4 GHz protocols.
- Sub-GHz Reliability: Red Series operates on its own frequency to avoid 2.4 GHz congestion and improve wall penetration.
- Built for Range: Z-Wave Long Range can extend coverage for larger homes, estates, and detached structures when supported by the installation.
- S2 Security and SmartStart: Encrypted device communication and simplified secure onboarding are built into the protocol.
- Security Ecosystem Fit: Red Series drops directly into Home Assistant, Hubitat, HomeSeer, Samsung SmartThings, and other Z-Wave-certified platforms.
Spec the Red Series when security, range, sub-GHz reliability, and 2.4 GHz congestion avoidance are key project requirements.
Smart Dimmers
Inovelli smart dimmers are built for flexible lighting control across residential and professional installs. They support dimmable lighting loads, scene control, LED notifications, smart bulb mode, and advanced configuration through supported platforms.
- Smart Bulb Mode: Locks the load on at full power and uses digital signals to control connected smart bulbs, eliminating the “switch off, smart bulb dead” problem in retrofits.
- Multi-Tap Scene Control: Use tap sequences to trigger scenes, automations, or device control from a single wall switch.
- Full-Color LED Notifications: The customizable RGBW LED bar can show status alerts such as alarm armed, garage open, or laundry complete.
- Neutral and Non-Neutral Options: Supported dimmer models can be used in neutral or non-neutral setups, with bypass requirements depending on the installation.
Spec smart dimmers for dimmable lighting loads where the client wants wall control, app control, voice control, automations, and a clean smart home experience.
Smart On/Off + Humidity Sensor
The Smart On/Off + Humidity Sensor is built for heavy loads, simple on/off control, and projects where sensing at the wall adds value. It is designed for non-dimmable lighting, exhaust fans, outlets, and loads that need reliable control on 120V or 277V circuits.
- Built for Heavy Loads: Rated for 1800W general purpose and 15A resistive on supported 120V and 277V circuits.
- Built-In Humidity and Temperature Sensing: Onboard sensors can enable bathroom fan automations without extra devices or batteries.
- Full-Color LED Notifications: Use the LED bar for visible feedback and status alerts at the wall.
- Multi-Way Support: Compatible with aux switches or another Inovelli switch where supported.
Spec it for non-dimmable lighting, bathroom fans, exhaust fans, outlets, and commercial lighting circuits where simple on/off control is needed.
Smart Fan Controls
Inovelli smart fan controls are designed for standard AC ceiling fans and give customers true fan control from the wall without pull chains, remotes, or homeowner workarounds.
- True 3-Speed Control: Low, medium, and high fan speeds are selected directly from the paddle.
- Built for Standard AC Ceiling Fans: Drops into existing fan installs with standard line/load wiring.
- Full-Color LED Notifications: The RGBW LED bar provides visual feedback and status notifications.
- Local Control: The wall switch continues to provide physical fan control even when remote connectivity is unavailable.
Spec smart fan controls for 3-speed AC-powered ceiling fans. They are not intended for DC-motor ceiling fans, exhaust fans, or non-fan loads.
Fan/Light Canopy Modules
The Fan/Light Canopy Module is the retrofit fix for single-load ceiling fans. It installs inside the fan canopy and splits a single load wire into independent fan and light control without opening drywall or running new wires through finished construction.
- Independent Fan and Light Control: Fan motor and light kit become independently controlled circuits.
- Two Devices, One Module: The fan and light appear as separate controllable entities in supported smart home ecosystems.
- Built for Existing Wiring Runs: Installs in the canopy using the existing line/load wiring.
- Pairs With Smart Switches: Works with an Inovelli smart switch configured for smart fan mode where supported.
Spec it for retrofits where one load wire runs from the ceiling box to a combined fan/light fixture. It is not intended for setups where fan and light already have separate switch legs.
Smart Presence Dimmers
The Smart Presence Dimmer combines a full smart dimmer with built-in mmWave presence detection and ambient light sensing. It is designed for rooms where automation should respond to actual occupancy, not just motion.
- mmWave Presence Detection: Detects occupancy so lights stay on when the room is in use and turn off when it is not.
- Ambient Light Sensing: The onboard lux sensor reads actual room brightness for smarter lighting automations.
- Full Smart Dimmer Underneath: Includes dimming, multi-tap scene control, LED notifications, and supported neutral/non-neutral installation options.
- Advanced Configuration: Provides deep parameter control through supported platforms for advanced automation and service plans.
Spec it for bathrooms, hallways, closets, offices, bedrooms, and other spaces where presence-based automation or ambient light sensing adds value.
Alloy Series
For projects where the wall plate matters as much as the protocol, Inovelli’s Alloy Series brings premium cast-metal construction to smart switching. Designed for projects where clients request high-end metal switch aesthetics, Alloy products combine a tactile push action with native Matter control.
- Cast Metal Construction: Premium feel with solid construction and a tactile push knob.
- Native Matter: Pairs into Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, Home Assistant, Hubitat, and other Matter-certified platforms.
- Clean Installs and Clean Specs: Designed for premium spaces that need smart control without compromising the look of the wall.
- Finish Options: Available in polished nickel, black matte, and blackened steel.
Spec Alloy products for luxury projects, custom homes, and design-forward installations where aesthetics are part of the requirement.
Accessories Built to Pair
Inovelli accessories are designed to complete the install and match the look of the project. From bypass modules to auxiliary switches and standard metal switches, the accessory lineup helps installers solve real wiring scenarios without sacrificing aesthetics.
- Inovelli Bypass: The fix for non-neutral installs and low-load LED flickering. Installed at the fixture on the load side, not in the gang box.
- Inovelli Aux Switch: The matched companion switch for multi-way installs where every switch location needs smart control, including dimming from both ends.
- Standard Metal Switches: Non-smart switches that match the Alloy aesthetic for clients who want a mix of smart and standard switches.
- Custom Color Paddles: Available to help match project finishes across White, Blue, and Red Series installs.
