FAQs

Yes, this switch requires a hub or gateway that supports Zigbee. For a full list of compatible hub/gateways, please click here.

This switch is meant for lighting purposes only and cannot be used to control outlets, fans, or any other inductive/motorized loads.

If you have a switched outlet that you want to control, we suggest removing the switched part of the outlet and wire the line/neutral on the smart switch (ie: no load) and purchase either a Zigbee smart bulb or a Zigbee smart outlet and use Zigbee binding.

If you want to control an inductive / motorized load, we suggest purchasing our Blue Series Smart Fan Switch.

If used in a non-neutral setting, you will not be able to use a dumb switch in a 3-Way setting (only an Aux Switch), you will not have Power Monitoring, and you will likely need a bypass.

No, this switch only supports 120V installations.

No, unfortunately this switch does not support low voltage lighting.

No, this switch does not work with ballasts (magnetic or electric).

No, Smart Bulb Mode will not work in a multi-way setup with a dumb switch. You must purchase an Auxiliary Switch.
