1. If using Smart Bulb Mode in a multi-way setting, you will need to purchase an Aux Switch ("dumb" switches will not work).
2. Non-Neutral setups require a bypass (not included).
3. Compatible with an Aux Switch or an existing, "Dumb" switch. If using with a "Dumb" switch, a bypass is likely required if controlling a singular LED. There is no dimming from the, "Dumb" side (but is available if using an Aux Switch ).

I absolutely love the Inovelli switches. I use them along with Philips Hue bulbs throughout my home. I also have some custom actions based on multiple button presses.
I also use the LED bar on the side for notifications. I started out with TP-Link Kasa switches which worked pretty well locally but nothing at all like the Inovelli's.

They are high quality dimmers, work with most bulbs. I use the light bars for notifications - alarm on, garage door open, etc. We have started using the multi taps. For example, double tap turns off the entire basement instead of just that specific switch. On other switches, just added functionality that double tap calls the robot vac to come vacuum that room. My wife absolutely loves that.

I highly recommend Inovelli. I personally went with the zigbee variant of their switches and absolutely love them. They look unassuming, but they are incredibly customizable. Their switches are phenomenal, yet surprisingly affordable compared to most other decent zigbee switches.

Does this switch require a hub?
Yes, this switch requires a hub that supports Zigbee.
What is the difference between the Red, White and Blue Series?

Does this switch work without a neutral wire and what are the limitations?
Yes, this switch will work without a neutral wire, but a bypass is required to be installed at the light fixture. In addition, you will not be able to utilize energy monitoring or use a, "dumb" switch in a multi-way setup (an aux switch is required).
Can this switch be used in multi-way setups?
Yes, this switch can be used in multi-way setups. It works with our Aux Switch, another Inovelli smart switch, and an existing, "Dumb" switch (not available for non-neutral setups).
However, please note that if you prefer dimming at both ends, an Aux or another smart switch is required. A, "Dumb" switch will not allow dimming (on/off only). For true dimming with another smart switch, your hub needs to support, "Zigbee Bindings".
Lastly, if you are using a, "Dumb" switch, you will need to purchase a bypass if you are only controlling a low wattage LED bulb.

Can this be used on fans (exhaust/ceiling) or outlets?
This switch is meant for lighting purposes only and cannot be used to control outlets, fans, or any other inductive/motorized loads. If you want an on/off switch, please check out our Blue Series On/Off Switch (w/Temperature and Humidity Sensing) and if you want a speed control switch for a ceiling fan, please check out our Blue Series Fan Switch.
Can this be used with ballasts or transformers (including LED Strips)
Yes, you can set the LED Bar intensity (off to 100%) when the light is on or off.
Is there a faceplate included? If not, what faceplate do you recommend?
No, there is no faceplate inside the box. We recommend Lutron Claro faceplates as we based our colors off of them.
